Interim Headquarters & Research Archive

Come visit our 6,000 square-foot interim museum facility, right off of I-75, just south of Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Our extensive collection of more than 35,000 artifacts includes thousands of timetables and ticket jackets, 200 vintage uniforms, hundreds of model airplanes, antique aviation toys, in-flight serving ware dating back to the 1930's, travel posters, aircraft components and so much more. Recent arrivals include an Eastern Airlines Martin 404 cockpit, later owned by Ray Charles, a Gate Gourmet catering truck, and the very first Tug tractor. Click here to see more of our collection.

Take a walk down memory lane with twelve new informative exhibits showcasing the history of the airline industry, a special section on commercial aviation in the south, a flight simulator, an art gallery, a special children's play space, an extensive library and archives, and a fantastic gift shop. The Future Museum

Coming soon will be our new Museum Campus comprised of several buildings, built in phases over a number of years. The main building will be a themed terminal covering the major decades of aviation, complete with jet-ways and full-size commercial airliners outside. Adjacent hangars and a Learning Center will contain our older aircraft, classrooms and career exploration areas, and a restoration shop.
